An awesome event...

Plymouth Megaride
   Dates:    15 June 2008
Title:    Plymouth Megaride
Description:

Plymouth Megaride

Plymouth Mega ride is on the 15th June meet 10.30 Lee Mill ind est £2 per person
Times:    10.00 - 17.00

Sparse details here but google and find out more. If anyone is joining this jamboree and is prepared to carry a passenger...bike or trike...I'd be more than happy to oblige. Otherwise I'll be on the roadside watching everyone go by.

I'm hoping the weather is good for this event...the forecast is for light showers so umbrella at the ready just in case. I'm not participating just going to find a spot by the roadside to watch the bikes go by.

Is anyone from this forum going along for the ride?

We'll be at the Windmill hotrod & chopper show in 4 Marks, near Alton, Hants I'm afraid.
Any chance you could point a camera at some of those bikes as they go by for us Lady M?

Afraid I don't have a camera Manky so sorry no pics.

The event (from the roadside) was not as spectacular as in previous years as the bikes only came through as per the traffic lights at Marshmills. Meaning that instead of wall to wall bikes they came through in bunches of about 50 interspersed with cars. I sat there till my bum was numb then came home when the rain threatened. It's currently heaving down so can't be very pleasant for the bikers on the Hoe.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for reports of the event and post any that are interesting enough.
