Hello Mr Flap.  Wink
I deliver to the old Victorian terraced houses of Brookvale, Basingstoke. No garages, but there are houses just around the corner in Flaxfield Road that still have gas lights.
I used to deliver in Pack Lane, Basingstoke. There was a guy there who was building a 2 seater light aircraft in his garage. Would quite often walk around the corner & find it parked on his driveway.

Really?
well,i must have,in the time i was a postie i delivered on all the gosforth routes (gosforth was my office )at one time or another, but do'nt remember the name,it was 14 years ago.

p.s,in 1995 i was offered a car that looked very similar to that one,it was a citroen, suicide doors, fastback, straight 6,or 8,can't remember now, free of charge, with a bsa m20/21 rigid, kept under cover, both guaranteed runners...............i took the bsa,and after fiddling and a magneto change it did run.i often wonder what happened to the car.it was on co-op property in greenside,nr newcastle, where my 1st wife worked, and they just wanted rid of them
