What a great day out we had again on a barge, we set off from Trevor Wharf across the Pontycylite Aquaduct towards Chirk.
What a view from the Aquaduct, the weather was ok as well.

Mrs T is always going on about a canal boat holiday, i think it`d be great for a weekend but a week would be to long.

We did that and also went onto LLangollen for a trip on the horsedrawn barge. Have been on similar in Tiverton. Its a most enjoyable and peaceful experience, just the clip clop of the horses hooves and the gentle lapping of water....the only down side was the, seemingly never ending, rabbiting of the geriatrics on the boat Roll Eyes The skipper got fed up with it as well and told them to be quiet for a minute so we could enjoy the peace....the beer was good also Smiley Wink

Great pics.

We fancy doing the whole canal holiday thing, but as we only live 2 miles from Ponty, it's too easy for Mrs to head home overnight to a real bed. Roll Eyes

I get dizzy every time I walk across that vaiduct  Lips Sealed
