Jason King is no more
Possibly the coolest guy in the World? -or certainly the world of the late 60s/early 70s.
Died today, aged 90.

I do remember him and did watch the show. I didn't realise he was still alive. I mainly remember the scandal of him being caught in toilets with other men. He didn't hide his sexual preference and I suppose his campness as Jason King wasn't all acting. He and Alan Bates were together at one time. Alan Bates famed for his scene in Ken Russell's "Women in Love" when he and Oliver Reed wrestled naked.

I think things were wilder then than they are now! Kids think they're pushing the boundaries, but their Grandads did it all before
