and this is how i`m doing it. First thing i need is a couple of angled brackets, i`ve got a fair bit of  3mm angle iron so cut mine from this, you can of course use some strap and just bend it.

So now i have to line it up with the stud at the top and mark it to drill an 8mm hole.

With the hole drilled, i can weld it to the original coil clamp.

the bottom end is done in the same way, only the bracket is horizontal instead of vertical, here i used the top mounting bolt for the starter motor and drilled my bracket to 10mm to suit.

This is something i nearly forgot, its a hole, well a threaded hole to be precise, and its in the top of the head at the back. At some point it would have had an adapter screwed in to take a water pipe, i dont need this so need to blank it.
A 5/8" unf bolt will do the job nicely. I`ll cut it down, wrap the threads with PTFE tape, the stuff plumbers use, and screw it in tight, sealed, job done!. Grin

The original fitting has a tapered thread, so seals itself as it tightens down, but a turn or two of PTFE plumber's tape helps. I just cut the top off the fitting & welded it over.  Smiley

A small step today, but its step closer  Undecided.
I cut down the bolt (shown above) then cut a slot across the top, wrapped the bottom half in ptfe tape then screwed it in. And that i think is the head finished!
