Ta every body.
Had the pro fit a new throttle to it I got fir me burfday the other day. I’d been too tight to buy a biltwell whiskey throttle, so bought an amal copy. It wasn’t great, so the mother in law got us the biltwell one. So much better! The cable locates properly and it has a roller bearing in it so Is a nice action.

Bike's looking really nice.
Those Amal copy throttles are awful. The originals weren't fantastic but the new ones....

Yeah, I’ll be calling for her help later to fit some bars that sumo at vintage chop made for me. She says I won’t know how to fit them.
The existing ones are pitbike bars which I thought were ok, but they’re just dead straight and a bit sh1t in all honesty. I guess the bikes turning out nicer than I could have done years ago, so these should hopefully finish it a bit nicer

Excuse my messy desk.
Great service from Sumo - spoke to him and paid him on the Friday, they were made for me on Monday and delivered a couple days later. Cost me about £115 all in which is a bloody bargain

Nice. Never met him, (he was a forum member here for a while), but always heard good things about him.
I've never had a pair of bars tailor-made for me. Cool.

Didn’t take into account needing bolts to fit them so just cable tied in place till tomorrow

October last year! Christ!
Bars pretty much bolted up properly now. Addressed an annoyance with a new part today. The seat bracket / pivoty bit was so cheap it bent on the end where it pivots. Not much cop really. I found on eBay a reasonably priced heavy duty one so started to fit that up. Difference in quality is massive. I need to chop the existing front mount off the frame and weld this one on, but it should be a little job ticked off.

Treated me self to a new welding lid and funnily enough I can actually weld stuff. I had to chop down the seat bracket a bit so it fitted better on the frame tubing. In the process of doing so the grinder snatched and hit me in the leg. Luckily the disc shattered before digging in, but I’ve got a wicked bruise coming.
