Those of you who've been here a while -or actually take the time to read back through old threads, will know that the forum sponsors Micky the chimpanzee at MonkeyWorld in Dorset. Those who want to, chip in a few quid & we take out a group adoption. That gets us a quarterly newsletter, a photo, a group entry ticket for a one-off visit of up to 30 people to the MonkeyWorld park -& the satisfaction that in some tiny way, we're doing our bit to help our namesakes enjoy a better life. The park rescues apes of all types from terrible conditions all over the World & gives them as natural & happy a life as possible, in the Dorset countryside.

Well, it's time to renew the adoption again. Our yearly membership expires on 16th October 09. We fully appreciate times are hard & a lot of people just can't afford to part with cash unnecessarily, so no pressure at all, but if you'd like to be part of this, we need to raise a minimum of £120 in the next couple of weeks. As in previous years, we're aiming for £10 per person. Send a cheque or postal order payable to Andy Field please & I'll send a cheque to the good people at MonkeyWorld.
