Listen to the Bob Harris country show on Radio 2 garage. More of a kylie guy myself -proper music
Had hoped to go see the kylie Hendrix set at the Farnham Maltings on Monday night, but just can't afford it at the moment.  Saw the tour at The Brook in Southampton & it's well worth travelling for.

I've seen the Hamsters maybe a dozen times over the years. Still fantastic every time. Weirdest gig would have to be when they played the Basingstoke food court in the town centre one evening. Hendrix & ZZ Top blasting out from among the burger & jacket potato counters, surrounded by plastic potted palms.

best gig i stumbled on, was when out on a run on the bike,stopped off for a beer in a village in northumberland n heard blues out of the back room and it was mick taylor and stan webb,awesome
