Compressed air between the rubber and the bars.

Women's hair spray -lubricates when wet, then sets like a glue. Makes your bike smell nice too

A long thin screwdriver push it in from the open end once in raise it up a bit and squirt some wd40 or duck oil in there and give them a good twist, make sure to clean them out if you are going to re-use them.

Little bit of glue but don't overdo it.Upholstery glue will do it and give you time to get them on properly. Stix

Old trick passed on to me by an ageing biker when I was a teenager after I found a can of hairspray in his toolbox.

Hairspray works. I have no hair to speak of but luckily Mrs Dslam still has some but rough up a small area for it to grip to as shiny chrome is not the best surface. I just read that back. I didn't mean rough up mrs Dslam. Oh poo you know what I mean.

I've always used hairspray since my old bmx days. Slide a thin screwdriver down the grip, lil squirt of hairspray, twist the grip an off it comes!

I use soapy water to put grips on,works a treat and doesn,t harm the rubber.
