Had an inch or so of snow here last night. Hopefully melting though & the roads are all clear. It's a sign of old age when you just see nature's wonder as a pain in the ass that's gonna make getting to work a nightmare.

Sorry to hear about the Landy but what you said about big ammers reminded me of something that might give you a chuckle.

Many years ago when my other half was owner/driver of a tipper truck, he bent the front wing so he unbolted it and brought it home.  Now we have a next door neighbour who is very nosy, she'll often pop outside her front door to mess about in her garden but really to see what people are doing.  That evening it got too much for her and she knocked on our door and said "I'm being really nosy but I just had to ask what you're doing?"

Which was hardly surprising as hubby and son in law were in our kitchen attacking the truck wing with a couple of sledgehammers!
