Probably been asked several times before ,and I know Ive read about it on here ,but cant find it!.......
If the bulge is on the l/h side of the box(looking from behind toward the front) where is reverse? Also..is it push lever down ,or pull up? Confused!

The bulge in the gearbox casing, (right at the back, down low near the output flange), is the opposite side to the gearstick movement -imagine the stick passing down through the top of the box & into the bottom of the gearbox. If you push the stick to the left, you'd need a bulge on the right to clear the bottom of the stick. So, if your box has a bulge on the left, your reverse position will be to the right & vice versa.
The stick lifts, acting against a spring under the dome on the top of the box, & goes across, (whichever way your box goes), & back to select reverse.
