I've been trying to finish my garden, but this heat is really killing me.

I think this picture of my Boxer says it all, he's too hot to even play with his favourite tennis ball... Embarrassed

Been sat in the stands at Avon Park today, watching the Nostalgia Nats drag races. Perspiration was pouring off us, (Dave_Postie, Janie_Postie & myself). Well, obviously Janie merely glowed a little, being a lady-person, but Dave & I sweated bucketfuls. Very welcome downpour at around 4.30 this afternoon finished off the racing for the weekend but didn't cool it down one little bit.
W-a-y too hot.

We had the mother of all Thunder storms last night, one crack sounded like it was directly above our house, the whole place shook, and my little 9 year old daughter was scared sh*tless.
The rain came down in sheets, and the wind picked up, so I stood outside and took some deep breaths, as it had become a damn sight cooler and the air was crisp....lovely it was !

But today is boiling again, there are some more Thunder storms forecast, but the bad news is, they are giving 33-34 degree's for tomorrow.... OH MY ******* GOD !  Shocked

Hiya. Wish I had a bike on the road to ride! Just been told the free bike I was given by one of the 100% Biker forum chaps is ready for collection. A non running VF750 Honda, (V four shaft drive). He's been waiting for a duplicate logbook to arrive for it. Now I've got to go collect it -from Aberwystweth.
Where do you work then Urban?

I don't mean to p*ss on your chips Manky, and besides, you most probably already know, but those VF's were the thorn in Honda's side so to speak.
They tarnished Honda's name for many years, and as I like Honda's, it was usually the culprit for a good argument in the pub...lol
Later models had the modification as standard, but all the rest had a recall, and as you can guess some never made it.
But bikes still around today would have had the modification...hopefully !

That sounds impressive Urban!  Cheesy
Yeah, I've heard all about the dodgy VF cams Ziggy, but, hey, it's free!  Grin
Had a text from Rainbow earlier. She manages a branch of Icelands. Someone's vandalised their air con unit overnight so the Land of Ice is distinctly hot & sticky today.

I think the weather is wonderful but then I do work in an air-conditioned office, and the aircon actually seems to be working at the mo!

I did decide to forget Poole Quay tonight in favour of sitting in the garden.......
