I think VB mentioned the collider was turned on, on the 9th of this month.

I don't know, but that zero-speed light could be real handy! Just stick some in your pocket when leaving the house, just in case it gets dark out later? Glue some to your car keys so you'd never again have to fumble in the dark? I'll stop before I get in trouble....

Which can be fun on occasion but not if your the nominated get away driver

any get away driver worth his salt would know to hang some on the back of the car. The collider looks like a fun piece of kit, I thought to start with it was the Madron Collider and I was quite comfortable with that, now I see there are over eight thousand physicists from all over the place involved and the HSE have said "there is no basis for any conceivable threat", so I guess we're all f****d ! Still £5,067,520,000 is money well spent if they get their Higgs Bosun out of it ! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Large_Hadron_Collider

I'm thinking this Hadron Collider is actually a dirt oval track for physicists and the people are sponsors to support their dandy team effort? Nobody else on the track so no fear of losing and the sponsors will never figure it out....
