I used to live on the fringe of Dartmoor, back in 63 my father had to walk to work, into the moor, he claimed he actually stood on roofs of cars buried. I had a couple of weeks off because we were frozen up.

I remember walking to primary school in the dark with dayglo armbands issued by the council when the government experimented with not altering the clocks in the Autumn. What year would that be?
1968. Clocks went forward to summer time and became British Standard Time And stayed that way for three years. One hour ahead of GMT.

Funny, was talking about childhood memories with my daughter the other day - I think children remeber things like that because they have less to think about, and also cos everything is new to them!

With the weather here today, I got completely soaked from head to toe.
Then had a beer to complete the evening in the pool.

Blooming heck. It's snowing down south. Got up this morning to a good coating of the white stuff in Southampton.
What are we to do?
Pretty sure the whole world is now going to grind to a halt. Must be at least an inch deep.  Embarrassed
