What do we all listen to when working in garages/sheds etc? Or do you prefer none?
Used to have a complete proper sound system out there,Denon amp,cd deck ,tuner and 4 speakers, recently removed it and put it up for sale. Now have a digital radio always tuned to Planet Rock,I like anything from Phil Collins to Black Sabbath.

I listen to Planet Rock when I can't decide what to listen to but normally I listen to Revolting Cocks, Ministry, Dead Kennedys.

Used to listen to classic rock/blues/soul all the time, but I've just sold my entire CD collection. Haven't worked in my own shed for a long time -been building my truck in Loonys workshop. The disc drive on my PC's busted & we don't have a standard hi-fi in the house. Tend not to bother with music in my commuter car & definitely won't be able to hear it in the truck when it's on the road.
Guess I'll just have to hum from now on.

I find I haven't listened to music at all for ages - all I need to do is get some new headphones as I used to listen while on the computer, has to be headphones cos Mike's watching telly at the other end of the room.  I just keep recoiling at how much the damn things cost!

BBC 4 does some good late night music shows. Watched an hour long programme on Sothern Rock a few nights ago, followed by a session by lynyrd skynyrd on The Ol' Grey Whistle Test. Good stuff.

I caught that lot, BBC4 does some good music progs. How good would it have been to have been in the audience in the tiny BBC venue with Leonard Skinner playing??
