Will do Manky - maybe over the Xmas hols I'll find the time (and those close-ups).
Never really had a very fast bike but have enjoyed draggin' cars for many years. Seemed to spend most of the late 80's and early 90's at Santa Pod with my 13.00 second '67 Cortina (ah, how I miss those debauched weekends at Gary's Picnic).
This is my 4-wheel love these days, a 55 210 Chevy with hi-po 355ci. It's in the paintshop at the moment. I'm swapping the brush and roller appied matt black emulsion for Chilli Red and 4 coats of laquer.

Thanks, many have said the same Valleyboy. In fact, had bigger crowds round her at the Nationals this summer than a lot of cars with 20k paintjobs. Took £5 of paint and me & the wife 3 hours to do 2 coats - her on brush & me following with a mini roller.
Does look tough but the sea air down here in Brighton has a voracious appetite for bodywork and Wickes emulsion don't afford much protection!

Is that a bullet hole in the bike tank?
Not a popular person then?

'Chevrolet' shop sells Clarks shoes, Rick! Yeah, it's amazing what a little bit of photoshopping can do.
Tazet's very welcome to a ride if we ever meet up.
