7/8th handelbars

Has any body got a pair of old 7/8th handlebars, they can be bent, twisted or any thing I just need the first 6 to 10 inches of each side for switch gear, throttle and so on to reduce a pair of inch + bars

Rather than butt weld 7/8" bars onto 1" ones (7/8" wont fit into 1") it's safer to use 22mm bar partly turned down to press fit into the 1" bars and then weld.

Is this something you could do I need them to fit into 3/4 internal diameter pipe ?
