Title: New American style diner near Oxford Post by: Manky Monkey on January 31, 2019, 10:21:42 PM Apparently on the site of the old Little Chef, near Abingdon. Looks a lot more authentic than the usual "bubble gum" rock n roll themed diners. No doubt it'll be full of posers on Harleys in a week.

Apart from the diner look sign it was just a Little Chef! :( This one looks really something. I wonder it it will last though. The costs are usually high therefore high prices and once the novelty dies off a lot of these places just can't stay open. Let's hope this one does better, as they have definitely gone for an authentic look. 8)

How can a motel/diner have limited parking? ??? Surely the definition of a motel is you park right outside your room. Or do you mean they can park but people just eating have limited space to park? Yes, that is dedication. Heavy bikes to drop. It's a wonder they could feel their legs (and other parts) in that temperature. Hopefully they didn't have to travel too far to see him off. |
