im gonna make one like rods but to match the rears for tyre coveridge and shape ile try and keep my 10mm(not much i no but looks good)gap around the tyre, and likes been said i can alway take it off for a change Wink

 Was told that sport bikes have a problem with stones being flicked up into the rad.Although Ive got a good mesh guard on the rad,I may extend the guard down with a sort of stainless mudflap,if I get any probs later on.

We often wondered about that so always fitted a light shield over the rads, but never saw any evidence of stone damage. A sensible precaution though.

 it tidies up a scabby old rad, and helps to keep the crap from filling inbetween the cooling fins.   and you never know when you might get attacked by a medievil jouster

for my rad gaurd ive folded hole punch mesh, its got loads of 3mm dia holes so cooling will still be ok but as it from 1.5 sheet steel its also strong. another free bee i made whilst visiting the lads at work
