When I asked the local DVLA about changing the bike logbook to a trike, they said it was easy if it was just a weld on, but also they said about the points system which means you have to keep the same engine, forks and major bits. I am going to try and get it re-registered without too much hassle, then play about with different engines, leading link forks ect.
Here is a rat Dnepr trike.

Found out today that the 12 volt alternator off the Dnepr has vanished into the black hole of the old owners shed, so I am going to fit a car jobbie. It should be easier on this one, as on the Ural the dynamo was a press fit into the casing, but the Dnepr has two studs holding it on.
