had to dig  my way up to the garage this morning just to check ,,EMILY,, was ok and that she still had her blanket on ,, around 4 inch,s of snow last night,, |

Daughter didn't know if she'd get home tonight - one route been closed for a few days because of ice on the hill, and the next best one was flooded! Luckily her hubby got a lift to meet her in a high 4&4 and they tried it together in her new car - made it through ok, I think the flood had gone down a bit, but I rather think she may be working from home tomorrow as it's raining again after snow earlier!
We just don't GET weather like this down here!

We had another 4 hours of snow looks like we'll be having a snow day today, local council didn't grit and so we can't get out of our road.
