Well we are british so it forms a big part of our conversation  Grin

Here in Gloucestershire we have an inch and half lying on the ground at the moment.
I gritted/salted my drive and the roadway outside at 5 o`clock this morning, 2 hours later and it was like I hadn`t done it  Angry

Poor Doc and Tony (cunningplan) have probably got more?

Got the same as you mate but it's still falling heavily
Already built a snowman and had a snowball fight with Scarlett.

 Grin Grin

Well I hope you let her win  Wink

It`s still falling here and the wind is strong too.

I have to negotiate a 12 mile trip to work later and then home again tonight!
Hopefully the main roads will be ok once I reach them.

Be careful if your heading out today.

About 2"+ of snow and falling steadily. Sent my dear lady out to Sainsburys and took the dog for his constitutional and that's it for me till it all goes away. Firewood's already in, so will spend the day in the garage.
Luckily got the bike MOT done yesterday.
Take care out there folks.

Not heard from Loony today so assume he's gone into hybernation mode. I live in the same town as Mr Newbie & Loony's workshop's a couple of miles outside town in the countryside. Got lots to do on my truck, but with no heating it's been ridiculously cold there the last few days. Fortunately I'm on holiday from work this week so looks like I'll be taking a snow day today too. Might put me big boots on & take a long walk across town to the nut & bolt shop -at least that'll be one errand done.

As Hunter said "About 4 inchs" I think we have been lucky lately as the east have been getting the worse of it for a change  Undecided

Why do they do that?! If you didn't know, I'm a Postie. About half the guys in my depot wear shorts all year round. Bonkers the lot of 'em.
Apparently the town of Penrith near Sydney in Australia's baking in 46.5c heat today.
I live 100 yards from Penrith Road in Basingstoke England. It's -2c here.  Sad
