"I'm bringing the party tent" was a great excuse!

Twas nice to get home in the dry tho - even if I have got a large canvas tent to get dry somehow!

Hate going to bike events in a car -always feel like a fraud. Unless it's one of the big shows like the NEC or Ally Pally. It's not even the same going to a custom show on a standard bike. The MOT runs out on my 70 quid Fiesta van in a couple of weeks but hopefully I'll be on the freebie Honda by then -just in time for all the cacky winter weather!  Angry

If I remember rightly, I did that cos my leg was (supposedly) only just healed and the trike only half built!

I'll admit I've been to plenty of bike shows by car over the years -but promise I made a point of feeling guilty about each one!

Smiley At least I was attending. Only taken 4 wheels -when I've had them, because the bike, or trike's been off the road for some reason. Always gone by bike if I could.

I agree, I like to attend air shows but I don't fly to them.
