Our leader had a couple of photos of it at from a VSCC hillclimb at Prescott back in 2013 http://www.mankymonkeymotors.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=13138.45 The 2017 VSCC Prescott Hillclimb is scheduled for August 5th and 6th https://www.prescott-hillclimb.com/events/event-diary-2017 Have been of fan of the GN "Thunderbug" having seen it compete at Prescott about 20yrs ago. It's only a poor little V twin, but its still 4.3 litres (only 700cc less than the V8), it shakes and rocks as each pot bangs in turn and propels the machine like no other car. One of the other cars shown on the link is the 200HP 1905 Darracq. This is a liquid-cooled V8, and once held the land speed record. I had a good look around it with a lengthy talk with it's owner back in '05. The following year it went to auction https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/14267/lot/672/ and (as best I know) was then restored. http://theoldmotor.com/?p=134988 Always makes me grin when I hear of the name "The Willows Dirigible" (as mentioned in the original link). ;D A certain Mr Earnest Willows was making non-rigid airships from around 1905, and since "airship" and "dirigible" are synonyms, it could just as easily be called "The Willows Airship", but that doesn't sound half as interesting.... It broke and my dear old dad adapted a JAP engine to run in this thing. I couldn't hold it, my dad was the only pilot of that thing. So I always remember the JAP engine.
