That's the worse thing to do ? Just plod on and buy what you can when you can ? Every project takes longer /more money than you hope..ask everybody

Very true. It's so easy to forget to allow for all those smaller items, such as electrical components, refurb parts, engine. They all add up. Starting with a bare rolling chassis, does tend to mean, that a few items may be missing. It's a hobby, and not a cheap one, so you do what you can, when you can and when finances permit. Keep at it Chris.

It's definitely an all engrossing pastime -all my available spare cash goes into either my truck or my bike. I'm on holiday at the moment & if it weren't for this hobby I could be sitting on a beach in the sun somewhere. I enjoy creating stuff though. The building bug's a bit of a curse really -but at least I'll have something to show for it when they're done. Keep plugging away Chris. We all know how you feel! Any progress is still progress.

Not one for posting this sort of comment but why is it on ebay? I have to say I am disappointed and that you really need to finish a project, but then again its non of my business so I am off. Andy

Like others have said no need to disappear it’s only a project. I was a bit hard on you with my last post which I apologise for but it was only because I was enjoying the build. Anyway I hope things turn out ok and you find a project you are happy with and make sure you post it to keep us all up to date. Andy

Got to agree with Andy -this one showed promise, (though Id've put a few more curves in it myself). I was looking forward to seeing how it turned out. Life just gets in the way sometimes though & there are more important things than cars & bikes, (I'm told). Don't go wandering off too far matey.

well its time to give the facts as they are.
i've no money. yep even though me and mrs poprodder are both working, i've not a dime spare.(or enough for that matter!!!) lost all interest in rods etc, no idea why, not just a phase but not been to our local club meet for nearly 2yrs, don't miss it. no interest to go in garage, when i do, i have to force myself to do anything.
its no good me mothballing the pick up in garage, its going, along with garage!!!
need to take a step back and finish house repairs etc.
i'll keep popping in on here, but don't think i'll keep a pressence so much on other forums.
chris.

I often get like that Chris. But what ever you get rid of, just make sure you keep all your tools ..... dont get rid of anything, as hopefully after you have given it a rest for a while you will get the urge to tinker again.
