I have to disagree with ya there vit. I dunno when you were last at a timber merchants but I reckon you'll find that a piece of timber of that quality costs somewhat more than a tenner. I think the saddle sets the bike off. Not my idea for a ride of any distance but that don't mean sh!t an' I'd sure as hell give it a go, aestheticaly the whole package really pleases me but that's just my humble opinion an' like arseholes, we all have one of those. I love it to bits an' if it found it's way via Santa into my garage on Christmas mornin' I'd thank the guys for a job very well done. Yoda's pictures do it great justice but it looks even better still up close.

There's folks that'll say that it's just art, not for ridin' etc. It runs an' it rides an' if it wern't for wonderful creations like this then the custom bike scene would surely stagnate.

Cheers to Jon an' Nobby at Hawg Heaven an' a couple of great blokes to get drunk with too they are.   Smiley

My sentiments exactly

But i must admit it not one of my favourite bikes outstanding build quality and ingenious ideas but i dont find it pretty - i Like Mr Jeffords machines more so much more something, it just does it for me, and warhorse is still my all time fav custom bike - EVER

Havin' sat on Vic's Sunbeam that he built on his days off I'll settle for that 'cos I reckon it's a thing of simple beauty but my favorite of his has to be Manhatten, the more I see it the more I love it.

Tis quite a stunnin peice of machinery! I might like what people would call old school bikes, but its bikes like this and destinys bikes that keep pushing at the boundaries of what people think is possible. And thats a good thing! Vics bikes just have so many bits to take in and percys paint is a thing of wonder!

Psi bawg isnt a vic jefford bike, it was done by hawg heaven. I think a carbon seat might have been cooler? Have you seen the confederate hellcat, C74? That has some kool carbon bits on it, like the tanks!

You're right lunatic, I'd already mentioned that but truth be told, embarresin' tho it is, when I first saw it at the Welsh International Show this year I thought it was Vic's new build an' congratulated him on it ....  DOH !!

I know what you mean about the carbon seat but there's just somethin' about that wooden saddle. As for the Confederate, yup that's rather good too in it's own way.

I'm with you on the ol'skool bikes Loony.
As art, Psi-Bawg & Mr Jefford's creations are beautiful -I'd love one sat in the lounge of my Californian mountain mansion, but as a rideable bike they just don't do it for me at all. Even with my limited experience of bike building, I can appreciate the workmanship, but there's very few of the current top show bikes I'd want to ride home on.
I agree with the seat comments -nicely made, but doesn't suit the rest of the bike. Id've gone with plain black vinyl or maybe shiny purple metalflake vinyl to match the paint.
