I hate to say this, but whilst an array of Nippon carbs. may have a very impressive look, twin SU's or even one large one on a suitably matched and flowed manifold will not only be more efficient on this motor, but will stay in tune longer and certainly be less problematic, after all were only talking of supplying a 50bhp-ish mill here, but if its just the look your after, well..........

ok su carbs were invented in 1905! like over 100 years ago...an i sorta like the new approach (late 90's in my case) with a basic theme... also i sold the original carb for 50 quid and bought these carbs for 15 quid so represent good value for money more hp and a better narly look in my opinion..appreciate your comment though..Smiley

Just an opinion Mr M, particularly as these carbs. on a standard engine will likely produce less power, not more, than a pair of twin SU's, and although the SU has undoubtedly been around a long time, its still efficient enough for the Japanese companies to adopt its same basic approach on their various CD carbs! still pays yer money........................I suppose

That's odd -but I love it!
Will that lot support their own weight or will you need a brace of some sort underneath?
