Glad you're getting on with things Pete, you cant be that bad if your taking the mick out of me and pictures, only joking, you just keep getting better. Would you mind me asking why you cant electric weld, just so I have a better understanding what has effected you.
All the best from one monkey to another

A mate who can weld is a fine friend indeed.

Merv, pull up a chair  Smiley
I was admitted to hospital with erratic heartbeat which resulted in me having an ICD (Impantable Cardioverter Defibrillator) put into my chest. The lower chambers of heart were beating out of sync to the top ones. My ICD is both defibrillator & pacemaker combined to keep heart beating at correct rate. Without it my heart rate is only now 35 to 40 beats per minute due to problems while in operating theatre. The first thing they did to me was run a "cable" up through a vein in my thigh into my heart to "zap" some cells to try and rectify the heartbeats, sadly they zapped to many hence my now very low heartbeats. 2nd thing they did was to fit 1 wire into my heart linked to a pacemaker gaffer taped to my right shoulder/chest....that concluded the day after 6.5 hrs in surgery. Rested in bed for couple days then back to theatre for round 2, this entailed have 2 wires screwed into my heart and the ICD put into a small pocket (think, chicken kiev?) in my left shoulder/chest. When that was done they removed the pacemaker from my right side along with the single wire, ripping the sticky tape off hurt the most Grin All this was done while I was awake under local anesthetic, the surgeon hesitated before he cut me open and I asked what his problem was only to be told "Im thinking were I can cut without damaging any of your tattoos!" What a thoughtful man he was Smiley
They sent me home next day as all was well. Now, the reason I cant use electric welder is because ive not got a shilling for the meter Wink Cheesy Grin Roll Eyes

Grin Grin Grin the real answer is because of the electrical/magnetic field produced. Im not allowed to be in same room as anyone electric welding. Also not to use petrol chainsaws / plasma cutters or go through airport scanners, MRI machines all for same reasons. Have to be very careful working on engines incase I get shock of sparkplugs..Been told not to hang around in supermarket doorways either...but that may be for other reasons Wink
About a month ago my defibrillator "kicked in" and gave me one hell of a belt, I had no warning it was going to happen so that was a shock in its self. I was stood in our kitchen with a plastic bottle in my hand which flew across the room, my shoulder/arm muscles ached for 2 or 3 hours afterwards. The crazy bit about it was that I was due to go to hospital 3 days later to have them check if it was working ok.....that appointment got cancelled Grin

So will you be O.K riding the trike Pete? No problems with sitting near a running engine?

Flipping heck Pete, I suppose it is a small price to pay for your heart to keep ticking, at least you seem to have a very good mate to do your welding for you even if it is a bit inconvenient.
Take it easy mate
