What he said! For the sake of an engine swap you've got a very pretty rod there.
thats why i hadn,t posted any photo,s for a few weeks,, the big reveal was to be at basingstoke on sunday  but i doubt that any of you will ever see her, in the flesh now ,,

i,m actually considering another olds engine but a 305,,just need to find out more about it ,
Thought that engine was a Chevy small block. The 307 being the Olds.
The Rover V is an Olds with different heads Grin Just paint the block to make it look like the Buick iron block 300 Cheesy
What ever you do please don't give up.

If you really want to put a yank in it,you can always do this at another time.

its looking like a good rover and auto box will cost more than a rebuild or another yank,

yep that was last night i,m now awaiting the engine number and carb details etc ,, he says its a 305 olds but olds, didnt make a 305 ,they made a 307, chevy, made a 305,and a 350, and it isn,t either,,
i reckon its a 307 by the oil filler tube position in the front of the block above the timing cover ,, a trade mark of olds, and buick,,
