Grin Thanks flc. It says in the listing that it was registered in 1972 yet he says it's a 1969, (what happened for 3 years?). The lights that should be on the wings and rear arch pannels are missing too. I'm sure Dave can give a better opinion of how genuine it is. The guy also wants cash on collection for it and unfortunatley I haven't got £6'500 floating about.
Yes I would love to have a project like that but I can keep dreaming.

Just spoke to Dave and he confirms it a 69 by the style of grill. He couldn't see the listing as he is at work but I read it all out to him and he said that what ever happens we can't loose on it. His windscreen cost £300 so will have to add that on and he said add another grand or 2 to get it fully restored then you have a car the we can sell for double what we paid for it. So might be getting a very itch finger in a few hours and visiting the bank for a loan and getting my mechanic to sort out my BMW and sell it. aaaarrrrrrrrgggggg too much stress.

That's what Dave said. Either bid on it and hope no one else is waiting to bid too or leave it and offer him less if it doesn't sell. Either way is risky but still haven't decided yet.

I know what you mean VB. 45 mins left and I still don't know what to do. Most of me wants it and a small part is saying no. Andy is asleep and leaving it up to me.
