Right. Manky and I have not been able to do much in the garden but we have pulled up some of the roots that were left in the ground. Over the last couple of days we've had some guys in replacing the fence between us and our neighbour on the left of the property. here are some pictures of them pulling out the old stuff. Not got any of the new fence yet as it's not finnished and Manky keeps nicking the camera.

Still no pics of the new fence -over 150 feet long & very expensive -thank Gawd we didn't have to pay for it all. Got some snaps of the new patio though. Well, the beginnings of it anyway. 18 feet by 24 feet. It'll be great to sit out on on Summer evenings to watch the sunset at the end of the garden or for lazy Sunday mornings, reading the paper & eating breakfast.
I know this thread probably seems very self indulgent & not remotely auto-related, but just wanted to show the 15 forum members who gave up a weekend a few months ago to come down & tackle the wilderness that was our garden, that their efforts weren't wasted. The kettle will always be on & the cake tin stocked up for anyone who fancies dropping in -we can always find more work for you to do!  Grin
