Do they allow it if you already know how to do it properly?

Looks like you've had a lovely break. I'm quite jealous. I do love that area but not saying hello to Nessie, well you must do that or at least call in the Nessie Shop and buy a stuffed toy. I've got one and my grandchildren take him to bed with them whenever they visit.

It looks wonderful Andy, We have so many beautiful places on this Island of ours........ and that is one of them that I have never ventured up to, but will make an effort to remedy that.
Great post of your holiday once again. Wink Wink

Grin First of all, I can only humbly apologise Tom, for not giving you the promised shout for a meet-up. I really was on the road, or the beach or mountain the whole time. Next year I'm bringing either the Pop or the bike & seeking you out for a pint. You have a lovely country mate, (I notice Mr Fifer's cunningly not told me where he lives).
Secondly -I'm b-a-c-k  Smiley Safely home after a 10 hour drive & already wishing I was still there.

Cheesy I reckon I'll have to rent a van to take it up there, then ride it once I arrive. No luggage space on the chop & sitting on motorways for an entire day on it doesn't really appeal. As I checked out of the hotel this morning they told me they've got a contingent from the Guzzi owners club staying there next week & they're putting on a band for them on the Saturday night. Bugger -I went a week too early.
Driving back down South today, you could almost feel the tension rise as the traffic increased. Everybody's so aggressive & impatient down here. I need to be walking on the beach again.

No need to apologise, Andy. It's lovely to have a holiday without commitment where you can just go where the wind blows you. It's also lovely to see where I have chosen to live through anothers' eyes. If it's any consolation you left at the right time because it's pi pis precipitating down now. We moved here because of the mountains but we find ourselves drawn more and more to the coast. Oops! Sorry no1 I'm starting to ramble!

Andy, you are wasted delivering the post, essential though that may be, the descriptions of your holiday breaks really make us all feel we are there with you, although the B&B room might then seem a little crowded! but...nicely done...Morrag
