Hi Ya`ll. i`ve now moved from the warmer reaches of the south and am now in Rochdale, apart from the colder nights, one thing has struck me and thats the lack of any type of custom machine on the road. Maybe i just moved at the wrong time of year?
Anyway if any of you are up my way or know anyone with similiar interests up here then please let me know.
P.S. all my trikes are still down south n i miss em.

Hiya. Well, nice to know you haven't disappeared off the face of the Earth altogether -although The North is almost as bad. Welcome back matey.

Hi T-Bone. I tried "up north" one time, living that is. was glad to be back home in the south again. to many northerners there Wink
went to liverpool with my work for about 6 years, we made "security doors", we were bloody busy for birmingham, manchester, glasgow councils Roll Eyes

Hey, if you got any trikes or bits that dont need to go north you could always leave them at my place...im sure i could find a use for them Grin and yes it is warmer down here.

I love Scotland but not keen on the bit in the middle you have to pass through to get there. It really is a bit bleak. Hate the push & shoviness of the South -too noisy, too aggressive, too in your face. I'd live in the Highlands if I could but it's a long way to commute to work each day.

As J Clarkson said re Lincolnshire "Put your foot down and get through it as fast as possible" or something like that.

Rochdale is just up the road.
I know a few that are into customs.
I'm trying to build a trike

Can you WELD?

Search TBone's posts from last year matey. He was a regular here for a while with lots of useful input. I always thought the Midlands was pretty big on custom stuff. Whenever I read BSH or 100% all the top bikes seem to come from North of Watford Gap.

I think they still eat unwary travellers too. Best stay this side of the Watford wall.

They eat some funny stuff up north, like tripe. They do say, them northerners that they'd rather eat it than talk it, I sometimes think they do both......now that's got to be worth a smite surely Grin
