Machined a cylinder head for my brother today when he came to collect it he brought two 17" five spoke alloy wheels with him what a super star, been busy making adaptor plates because the pcd was different, they are currently fitted with 205/40's but i may opt for a wider tyre maybe 215/50 to give a bigger overall diameter,it's all go. Madron, I'll have a measure up tomorrow & get back to you. If you want to post pics on the forum but still have trouble you could always email them to me to post for you. My address is on the Homepage under "Contacts".
What's the overall diameter of your new wheels & tyres Saddlebags? Ours are about 24", (50 profiles on 15" rims). I wouldn't go hugely bigger than that if I were you or you'll find yourself struggling to pull away.

With the 205/40's the overall height is 23 1/4",i was looking to get about 24" perhaps i should use the wheel  and tyre calculator in the trike yech section Grin

That'd be a thumpy ol' motor wouldn't it! Maybe it's one of Shaun's panther pistons!
