Will need pics and good luck with the MOT.

That's weird -Mr Flap & the whereabouts of the Flapster only came up in conversation yesterday. So it's in Leicester now.
Congratulations Gazz. Hope we're gonna see you out & about on it this Summer.

We'll just thought I'd keep you all updated FAILED mot
Front disc lower than legal limit then on way back from mot front brake seized  Cry
So got it home after letting cool down half hour
Got front brake done new disc took back. passed
Then on way home sump and rocker gasket started leaking Cry
So replaced them then couldn't get it running right got new carb then would only run on choke
So after two days of messing around. Gave up took it to professional carb centre
60 mins sorted new inlet gasket to head and timing was four degree out so jump on it pleased a punch. Going home back callipers leaking Cry new seals ordered from big red on way Grin but have to wait in garage now for 6 weeks as had my last opp on leg 5 years later. But all good now. Noticed oil light comes on when ticking over but is ok when in 2 gear goes out any ideas new oil pump may be Kiss
Oh and seems to b running hot. Any ideas anyone message to Andy how was the stainless ball on gear stick fitted as like to stove the gear stick.  Grin

So good news & bad then -but hopefully more good than bad.
Hope the op' went O.K
The trike had sat, unused for several years, so I guess it's bound to suffer a few hiccups now it's back in use again.
I honestly can't remember how we attached the 3" diameter stainless ball to the gearstick -it may even be welded. I'll check with Flap. It was sat on my mate Bernie's desk in his fabrication workshop for ages. It's hollow, so we either welded in a threaded insert or welded it direct to the stick.

like to stove the gear stick.

If you're getting it powder-coated, the coaters should be able to mask off the ball, (just had the dipstick handle for my truck done like that). Unless of course, you meant you'd like to shove the gear stick -in which case, I don't want to know where  Shocked
