Title: broken laptop screen

anyone know of where i can get a new laptop screen from ,cant afford too much as xmas round the corner,15.6" acer 5735 .

Tony, you will probably find it cheaper to buy a good S/H Laptop, as the chances of finding, and then have fitted, the screen alone, is slim,Morrag

got to agree with morrag , you can get them quite cheap sometimes but they are an absolute bugger to fit . take out the hard drive and bin the rest , then buy a caddy from maplin to put the hard drive into , this gives you a instant back up as long as you copy all the files onto the new laptop

Perfect !!!!! Just need to buy a good quality set of mini screwdrivers and a big magnifying glass.. Screens arent that hard to do.....if your good with engines n spanners it'll be fine  ;D
