when you could get lengths of braided hose and ends with collets a the bike shop and not have to pay through the nose what do remember and miss 1p pop shop near the school etc wagon wheels when they was the size of your hand  |

No these were about 5ins long but just as narrow as sweet cigarets with no wrapping |

My dad buying petrol for his A35 in 1962...and a shot of redex per gallon . 1 old penny per shot for the redex,and 3s 9d for the gallon of petrol!
