The following is a wee list of NGK spark plugs and their alternatives
https://sites.google.com/site/fifersrelianthintsandtips/spark-plugs/spark-plug-alternatives Have a look at the NGK spark plug code at
http://www.spark-plugs.co.uk/pages/technical/ngkjpg.htmBasically
"
B " is the standard 14mm plug thread size for the Reliant engine with a 20.8mm hex for the plug socket / spanner to go on
If the " B " is followed by a " C " then that is the standard 14mm plug thread size for the Reliant engine with a smaller 16mm hex for the plug socket / spanner to go on {
Looks much neater and makes it easier to remove the number 2 spark plug next to the distributor }
" E " is the thread reach of 19mm into the head
" S " is the standard super copper core electrode
You can pick from the following
NGK { Or alternatives }
BP5ESBP5EV BP6ESBP6EV Or , even better with the smaller hex
BCP5ESBCP5EV BCP6ESBCP6EV I normally run on " 5 " but each engine is different .
Just suck it and see .
