Hi all, as per old threads on here I have finally finished the old girl, just need to change the front tire size to a more bobber style which should be done the weekend, she is an old Honda cbx1000z bike which has been bored out to 1150cc she is a 1979 model and has a reliant rear axle custom made swinging arm, cb1000x blackbird front end, the rear bar comes off to slot in a rack or pillion set.
she is fat and low. let me know your thoughts guys its nice to hear if I got her right or wrong, I can take it....
Regards Phill Gloucestershire

Hi Phil. Very nice What do you call bobber style? Think I'd go for a big fat front end on that to match the chunky back end. Nicely done mate.

Nice and short. Looks powerful. The Honda cbx1000z was a great bike. Rode pillion on one for about 100 miles. Enjoyed the ride even though I was a bit bowlegged when I got off. Hope you get a lot of pleasure riding it.

Hi All, thanks again for the comments, the bars are 1 inch cow horn bars, I have a specially machined insert down to 22 mm works a treat, And yes the front end lets it down needs beefing up, bobber tire might help, still WIP, As for location im in the forest of dean Drybrook.
Cheers guys there is a few pics in my gallery. Thanks Phill
