Morrison's supermarket have put all their Christmas decorations up & are playing Christmas music.
I hate Morrison's.  >:(

I took my Son and Granddaughter to Frankie and Benny's today for their birthdays. Yes, you guessed it, Christmas songs. At least they were from the forties and fifties so no Wham or Mariah Carey (thank goodness).  :D

so its that time of year, I will try to stay positive and try really hard to be sociable. Just have to hide the wifes cash and cards for a few weeks  ;D ;D.............How Much?!!!

I play drums in Titanic Blues Band here in Derby.

We started rehearsing X mas tunes last week. Thankfully we nailed it and won't be playing until 1st December.

Yup same for me here in France, can't be othered doing the decoration thing just for myself.

How are you getting on Stix, have you settled in alright? Have you completed the work that was needed yet or are you still working up to it?  :D

Long story Jay jay, what with cowboy English builders not doing what they said they would and leaving a load of crap in the garden then asking for more money to finish off what they had started, and getting things like medical card and the car registered in France it has been a mare, so Christmas is cancelled and I will try and get my stuff sorted in the new year. House is ok as I can keep warm and keep my self fed so there is some good and summer won't be that far away, just got to spend what I have left very wisely to get close to what I wanted to achieve when I got here.

Do you want a lodger ???

You'll get sorted as you are a positive sort of fella. Like you said, you have a roof over your head, you can be warm and fed. Things a lot of us take for granted. Many haven't got them and I know I am thankful that I have especially with the colder weather coming our way. Keep smiling Stix, even if Christmas is cancelled at your address!

We had a good day thanks, most of the kids came back home from there own places for dinner and an afternoon of playing board games. All gone home now, back to peace and quite of just the wife and me at home.

One of my Postal delivery customers went crazily over the top with his Christmas decorations this year. Madness! :)
