i followed olds advice and fitted a pipe from my breather to the inlet on my carb but i think it has been putting a bit to much oil steam into the system because it doesn't have a filter like the original. my new trike project so i got a few bits to make one. wire gauze, wire wool and some roll pins. my new trike project cut off some of the wire wool and put it up into the breather to help collect the oil my new trike project i cut the gauze to the right size and doubled it up to keep the wire wool in my new trike project then i drilled two holes across the width of the breather and put the two roll pins through to keep all the above in place and to prevent it from falling into the rocker. the drill bit curved abit so the pins arent quite where i wanted them but they do the job my new trike project my new trike project so hopefully this will help it

pm received cheers mate yep this breather makes it much easier to attach a pipe and feed it away to another point. yes merv it did come from a nice monopedal fellow for anyone else that tries a similar mod to this i have learnt it would be best to drill your holes BELOW the O rings. if drilled above the O rings it might let air into the carb/system causing the engine to run lean which is not good. i have corrected this on mine buy filling the ends of the roll pins in with metal putty and then filing them back so hope this works out ok now

I wondered that. As someone suggested, you could use your car tax disc holder to hold an emergency biscuit. The Police suggested using it to hold a medical information card in case of accident. Maybe you could fill the glass tube type like Craig's with emergency tea?

I had a batch of MMMotors ones made. A dozen of 'em, just to see if they sold. They did. Maybe they're collectors' items now!

yeah still riding it everyday to work and when the weather isnt bad i run it out at lunch time . just trying to tweak the engine and get her running at the best she can. yeah i know its not needed now but as i have the disc i will leave it there till it runs out then frame it maybe . might use the holder for parking tickets or holding emergency spare change.
