Cheers guys. Dont worry andy I am already getting spotted. Chatting to the guy in the news agent, told him I had got my project running and showed him a picture to explain. "I saw a nutter the other night on one just like that" " theres only one like that so that nutter would have been me" says I grinning like a loon

Cheers olds. I think it is coming from both. No idea what or where the reverse switch hole is so dont know that one . Have not checked the oil but will do. Migjt get a new bottle and refill. Will phone reliant parts world tomorrow and try to explain and see if they have that gasket. Finding any reason I can to ride. Made the family drive in the car today while I lead the way on the trike to the other halfs aunts house. I'm the same Craig, any excuse to use it

Yup, a big meet, (bike show & autojumble). 6 miles from Basingstoke on the Andover Road. Well worth going to.

will look into that then and see if i can get there. came back from holiday and took her out for a spin. loved it . then bought her back and whilst still hot i dropped all the coolant with the ferox in out of the system. WOW. considering i had already flushed it through some really nasty coloured stuff came out with lots of bits floating in it. the rad when you look in the top now looks alot cleaner. filled her up again and took her out for another quick ride. problem now is after leaving her over night came into work this morning and there is some oil on the floor under the front. torch out and looks there is oil coming from the lowest pulley on the crank case cover . guessing i am going to have to get my spanners out again.

Ok how does that work? Have you still got to have the front of the engine off?

no you just add it to the oil,if the leak is because the seals have gone hard due to lack of use /age then hopefully the leak will stop, its not a miracle cure but will help in some cases but i did buy a seal on ebay just in case for a fiver
