i've still got all this stuff piled up in the shed.
at a crossroads where i'm accumulating money for ........HuhHuh??
due to the way things are licenced here and the trikes more complex engineering, a T-bucket would be a faster more instantly gratifying project
I would then continue on with the trike after
or do I change to a trad vw trike (dull) or just keep plugging at it?
cant do anything till money and time come together. gotta finish the last mig, get the last 2 sold
somehow dont think this trike will  ever leave my brain, regaurdless what i build first

Yeah, I sometimes end up planning, planning, planning. Best to do a little every week I am finding, then stuff happens. Are the regs much stricter over your way ?

It seems so. We have to get an engineer to approve the design, progress checked before welds are dreased etc
Have seen a few things chopped up only because they smoothed a weld.
The hot rod association makes hot rod building simpler but it is restrictive on what you can or cant do

Simples,Build a hotrod with three wheels. Grin

specifically blocked in the rulebook Grin
a bit prejudicial of them as a Morgan 3 would fall within most other criteria

All in the inerest of safety. Must have been some horror bodge ups back in the day.
Also the engineer means that our equivalent of the msva or whatever is not so stressful as all has been checked and tested by the signatory engineer

Yes i'm all for safety,But the restrictions are just an excuse,
Yes everything must have a limit. But they always want to take it to far. Sad
