But a slight problem.......the last valve spring was either already broken or broke under compression during removal.

So, rather than put it on 'Wanted' section.......anybody got a spare Cry.

If not I will order one, but just on the off-chance.

If you still need one, let me know as i was out n about this morning and managed to pick one up  Wink

Just laying on the pavement was it TB?  Cheesy
Actually, I do know somone who had a garden full of crap interesting old vehicles & when he blew a hole in a piston on his bike, literally dug one up from the ground, wiped the mud off, bunged it in & was back on the road within the hour.

What a nice guy you are! A Reliant breakers yard? Maybe you should post the details in the Links for Commercial Purposes section mate.

Hmmm March 24th 2009 when i started to strip this lump down and rebuild it, that means for the best part of 12 months its just been sat in the shed, sometimes in the trike frame, sometimes not. I havn`t done anything to it that has not been posted here or in my trike build thread.
Today it fired up and ran, no great dramas, this proves what has been said a million times before on the forum....These engines are simple, basic and practicaly bullet proof.
