I digress slightly , but as its in the right theme, i thought i would just issue caution about costumes.

In 1961, 87-year-old Harry Meadows, a resident at the Haslemere home for the elderly in Great Yarmouth, England, achieved late-in-life notoriety when he accidentally killed another 3 residents of his care home by dressing up as the grim reaper and peering through the residents' lounge window whilst holding a scythe.

I now have in my possesion a zenith stromberg 125cd carb. the dilema i am in is how to mount it as it won't fit straight on to the manifold it seems to me to need a 90 degree adaptor. would this be something i could make easily or am i gonna need someone to make it??

An adaptor shouldnt be difficult...a piece of pipe(90 degrees?) and 2 x endplates.

some 10mm alloy, hole in the middle for inlet, then studs(or threaded holes) on each side of the alloy to match the carb and the manifold holes
thin gasket each side, all done,

like a spacer with studs/bolts

Digger..I could be wrong,but..I think the carb has to sit as it is in the pic, therefore it needs an adaptor to fit it to the angled outlet of the su carb?
