So...how'd it go?
ah now theres a question lol
well it went very well handled nice good axle ratio very pleased with the whole thing only did 10 miles got back home , went it for a cuppa come back out to the trike oil all over my drive and the front wheel.
It turned out to be a fork seal (that was supposed to have been changed by the last owner a week before i bought the bike ) yeah yeah lying s*d
so i ordered one yesterday morning and have been sat waiting for it turn up all day today  Angry
I called the company up and was told that they hadn't dispatched it yet (that was at 4:30 pm today ) so I'm well and truly razzed off
hopefully it will be here tomorrow so i can get the trike back on the road  Grin

That's a very neat and tidy conversion Mousey, but why did you have to do it? and I think that knot in the belt may prove troublesome!! Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin..Morrag

Grin Grin the knot makes things a bit more intersting mate  Grin one minute its charging the next its knot lol
i did the conversion from the stator as the 1200 goldwings are notorious for going wrong plus if you add anything electrical to the original system the stator soon over heats and packs up
