I meant it's a long way so doesn't seem worth the effort/petrol.  Hope the weather was as good as it was in the pub garden here!

Turned out to be a lovely day. Warm sunshine all day & the organisers think it was thier busiest WheelsDay ever.
Lots of Monkeys & Friends of Monkeys there. A good day out for a fiver.

Having trouble loading photos here -very nearly filled the memory space on my laptop so having to delete old stuff to add new. Bear with me.  Wink

Plymouth Roadrunner. Restored by the same bodyshop that rebuilt Taz's Charger shell. I love this car.

Frosty start but the weather was kind overall. Brilliant in the sun. My face is sunburnt!
Great day out. Fantastic turn out. Chevy Rick and I went in his '49 Chevy Pick-up (Nadine). Her first big outing since the work on the engine. She went really well.  More go than us two anyway.   Grin

Nice to meet up with so many people, many we hadn't seen since last Summer. That's my favourite bit about Wheels Day; lots of great cars, but even better folks. Spotted you Andy, very briefly. Sorry we didn't get to chat but hopefully see you on the 29th.

Well done SSR for another great event.

I was in photografficking mode when we passed Jay, so I'm sorry I didn't stop to chat. I waved at Rick, but didn't see the truck on my travels.
I'm told by those that arrived early there was a heavy frost, but as I live just 20 minutes up the road from the arena, I had a lie-in & arrived fashionably late, by which time the sun was in full effect.
Although Taz owns a '69 Dodge Charger, (same year & model as this), neither of us are fans of General Lee replicas. They're everywhere. Two of 'em at the show today.
The Great Chavvy British public seem to love them -"Britney, go stand next to that wikkid motor so I can get a photo on me phone, innit" -a good enough reason to paint hers any colour except orange.
