An electric conversion for live axles, "suitable for electric rickshaws, tricycles etc", but with larger motors available on request. I'd be interested to see a custom electric trike. If it ever comes to it, I'd quite happily swap MY truck's V8 for an electric motor if it meant the difference between carrying on using it or consigning it to a museum. Once again the law in this country is somewhat confusing. From what I've read.... For an electric bike/trike/quad to not need type approval/road registered (msva) it needs to be less than 250watt / less than 15.5 mph pedal assist.If you don't pedal, the motor must cut out. If you go over 15.5mph, the motor must cut out If it's not pedal assist (twist and go) it must be limited to just 3.7mph ! Be an interesting exercise to get an electric vehicle through msva.
