Confused me then! I thought Yodie had uploaded something new I didn't know about! Those chapters were added to the site last year -check the date on his posting. I originally wrote them for the Fox & Hounds MCC website -the club SpeedMaster & I belonged to back in the 70s/80s. They need editing cos there's a couple of references to the club & it's members which won't make sense to new readers. The empty cases are still sat in Ska Man's garage. Originally Brock's -he's annoyingly organised like that, they've been used in several builds now. The only thing we have to remember is to allow for the weight of a full engine when setting the rake of the front end.

Happy hundredth! Sorry, I forget some folks are viewing things for the first time. We've talked of deleting some of the older stuff to save bandwidth, but, as you've proved, it all gets read, so I'd rather expand the site size & keep it all.

Don't worry, it's here to stay! Hoping to get some CAD drawings & templates online soon for things like the rear disc brake conversion plates, so readers can download them for their own use. We've got no trade secrets here -I'm happy to share info & ideas with anyone who wants them. The more fun machines on the roads the better!

Nice one, MM, I've noticed that on this site everyone seems to share and help....I'll even do what I can with my limited experience, and more than happy to. K

We just make it up really! When I built my first one, (Sharon's blue XS750 Yam in the Motors, 3 wheels bit), there was no-one to ask for advice. No mates with trikes, no forums to ask in -nothing. I made all sorts of mistakes but learned from them -& made a completely different set of gaffs the next time. Some guys seem to jealously guard all their little building secrets -maybe they're afraid of the competition, I dunno. Personally, although we don't claim to be experts, I'd rather give what advice we've got, or point someone towards someone who can, than see them build something that's unsafe, or just no fun to ride. The World needs more fun vehicles!

I was going to read all the articles before i BUILD A TRIKE, BUT AS i CAN'T EVEN type this evening I shan't bother. How hard can it be - Don't throw that back at me later. That reminds me - must learn to weld and make more room in the garage, and the shed, and the lounge -- oops Trike TOOO BIG for lounge build, should be fun though i know - take pictures

Now this I've got to see! Having seen how innovative & imaginative the Pendine Flyer is, I can't wait to see what you do with 3 wheels.
