Next question!! I've got a bank of Mikuni carbs that have what looks like two fuel inlets, one at the bottom of the bank (which was connected to the fuel tap on the tank), and another at the top of the bank that isn't connected to anything!! Should it be??

I believe it should double back to a pipe on the tank. Seen a lot of jap bikes like that.

Nope, found that one already, and comes from the outlet rubber, not the top of the bank of carbs! Found a pipe outlet/inlet on the bottom of the tank that I reckon should be connected to it!!

Always worth remembering that if the bike is coolant cooled that could be plumbed into the carbs as well, the ZRX and many others are like this. They use the warm coolant to stop the carb icing up.
